This episode I speak to Dr. Mollie-Kate Richardson, who is a Psychologist with Spectrum Mental Health.
Her research explored the mental health impact of selling or exchanging sex.
We speak about objectification, feminism, and how the concepts found in her research apply universally to all women. A really interesting podcast to record, and some very insightful topics were brought up in Mollie-Kate's research.

We speak about diet culture and how dieting can have an impact on our mental well-being. We also speak about relationship with food and eating disorders, and a host of other interesting tangents that we go on!
I really enjoyed chatting with Isa on these topics. You can check out Isa's Instagram @isarobinson_

In this podcast, I address some of the daily practices we can use day to day to promote our mental well-being. Often we neglect some of the basics and there are some simple behaviours we can engage in to actively promote positive mental health.
I talk about the importance of gratitude, emotional expression, socializing and more. There are plenty of things we can all do day to day to improve our mood and what I want listeners to leave with is how the sometimes simple activities can be really helpful to promote mental health and wellbeing.
The tips covered in the episode are contributors to positive mental health, but a GP or mental health professional should always be consulted if you're struggling with a mental health issue.

This is the very first Head First podcast, answering a question I get asked a lot through my Instagram page - "Can I cure my mental health issue?"
Mental health issues can be quite complex, it's not just a case of a yes or no answer, so I'll be explaining why mental health disorders are not so black and white.
Forgive the lack of an intro, sound quality et al. This is my first attempt, so I would love to hear any feedback on my instagram @headfirst0
